Tuition to Virginia Virtual School Adult Education Program is a one-time fee of $985.00. We have the following payment plan: $485.00 is payable immediately to initiate enrollment, plus 2 checks for $250.00 each. One check should be post dated for 1 month after initial enrollment, and the second should be post dated for 2 months after initial enrollment.
All checks must be sent at time of initial enrollment. All fees are payable by personal check or money order.
Are there any other costs?
No.
Will I have to take any courses?
Yes, the program does require you to take some courses. We provide all the courses you will need online.
Do you accept credits from other high schools?
Yes, we accept all credits from other high schools that appear on a transcript.
Do I need any textbooks?
No. We provide the course work and the teacher. All of the resources necessary to complete a course can be obtained on the Internet or through a public library.
What happens if one of my payment checks bounce?
There will be a $20.00 fee for each returned check. If a check is returned, we will only accept money orders as replacement, and the student's password will be removed until payment is recieved. The money order should be in the amount of the bounced check plus the $20.00 service fee.
How do I get my transcripts from other schools?
Fill out a Release of Records form and send it to your former high school. They will send us the transcript.
How do I enroll? How soon can I begin my course work?
Download, print, fill out, and send our Enrollment Form with your tuition check. Once we recieve your enrollment form, you will be entered into our database (within 24 hours), and we will send you an email with your username and password. You can begin your courses immediately.
Will colleges accept this diploma?
Virginia Virtual School is a division of Whitmore School/Compuhigh.com. When you graduate, your diploma will be from Whitmore School, a fully accredited private school. Whitmore School graduates have matriculated in colleges and universities in numerous states across the US, as well as Canada, Mexico, England and Japan.
How will I get my diploma?
Virginia Virtual School graduates students three times a year: at the end of June, August, and January. You will recieve your diploma in the mail.
Is there someone I can talk to if I have a problem?
Yes, you can always contact your teacher if you are having a problem in a specific course. If you need to talk to someone on the phone, our guidance counselor is available Monday-Friday, 9AM - 5PM EST. She includes her phone number on the emails sent to you.
