Graduation Requirements for our Diploma Program

Our diploma program is administered by Whitmore School. This program is specially tailored to meet Virginia Standards of Learning. If you graduate with us, your diploma will be from Whitmore School, a private, fully accredited online high school.

We offer two diploma tracks: College Preparatory and General Studies. Students who complete either track will receive an accredited high school diploma from Whitmore School. Students who plan to go to college should follow the requirements for the College Prep track.

Our Transfer Credit Policy

General Studies - 18 credits	College Prep - 22 credits

**Social Studies requirement is fulfilled by completing 0.5 credit of American Government, 0.5 credit of World Geography, and 1.0 credit of American (U.S.) History. If you have taken similar courses at a previous school, please bring this to the attention of your Guidance Counselor and Transcript Coordinator.

Students enrolling as 12th graders must complete a minimum of 2 credits with Virginia Virtual School in order to graduate. One of these credits must be English 12. The total amount of credits you need depends on how many of your previous credits apply to our requirements.

If you would like to have us evaluate your transcript, please click on this link, print, and fill out the Transcript Evaluation Form. Mail it with your transcripts and a $50.00 payment. If you decide to enroll in our Diploma program, the $50.00 will be deducted from your tuition.
